Gyeonggi-do Recruits Textile and Fashion Companies to Join Overseas Online Mall 'Shopee'
[Asia Economy Reporter La Young-cheol] Gyeonggi Province is recruiting textile and fashion companies in the province to enter the overseas online shopping platform 'Shopee.'
According to the province on the 24th, companies that have their headquarters or factories in Gyeonggi Province and had export performance of less than 25 million dollars last year, and have not yet entered Shopee as of the announcement date, are eligible to apply.
This year, a total of 10 companies will be selected to support entry education and practical sessions, entry consulting, and provide up to 1.5 million won, which is 70% of the costs needed for logistics and marketing after entry.
'Shopee' is the largest global online shopping mall in Southeast Asia targeting consumers in ASEAN countries such as Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam.
