Renovation Work for Aging Water Supply Facilities in Island Areas (Songdo·Yangdo), Jindong-myeon, Masanhappo-gu
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] Changwon City Waterworks Office announced on the 23rd that it will complete the maintenance work on aging facilities in the island areas of Jindong-myeon, Masanhappo-gu in the first half of this year to ensure stable water supply.
The areas of Jindong-ri and Gohyeon-ri, Songdo and Yangdo in Jindong-myeon, Masanhappo-gu are experiencing frequent leaks and water pressure drops due to aging village water supply pipes and reservoirs, causing inconvenience to residents.
To resolve these issues, the Waterworks Office will invest 210 million KRW to replace 1.2 km of old pipes, install pressure reducing valves and flow meters, and demolish aging reservoirs in the Songdo and Yangdo areas (41 water supply households, 75 people).
