Gyeongnam Province Hosts 'Special Lecture on Climate Crisis Response and Green New Deal'
Simultaneous Online Live Broadcast on Gyeongsangnam-do's Official YouTube Channel 'GaengnamPiseol'
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] Gyeongsangnam-do, in collaboration with the Gyeongnam Provincial Council and Gyeongnam Climate Crisis Emergency Action, will hold a special lecture series titled "Climate Crisis Response and the Green New Deal" from the 2nd to the 8th of next month.
This special lecture series is planned to shift the awareness of public officials and residents regarding the climate crisis, enhance understanding of the necessity of the Green New Deal, and build consensus for entering a carbon-neutral society by 2050.
The lectures will be broadcast live online on Gyeongsangnam-do's official YouTube channel, "Gaengnam Official".
The special lectures consist of a total of 11 sessions covering general overviews and specialized areas such as policy, manufacturing, circular economy, rural and fishing villages, transportation, and budgeting. Renowned domestic scholars and field activists will deliver the lectures directly.
