View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] GS25 announced on the 23rd that it will carry out a nationwide campaign with the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs until the 15th of next month, focusing on "Medical Staff Who Became Martyrs" as the core theme.
GS25 decided to use lunchboxes as the key medium for this campaign connecting 33 medical staff martyrs with the public. Stickers containing the names and achievements of the 33 medical staff martyrs, selected with advice from the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs and Professor Emeritus Kim Hee-gon of Andong University, will be produced and attached to all lunchbox items in operation.
During the campaign period, a fundraising project to support current medical staff will also be conducted. When customers purchase lunchboxes and accumulate GS&POINT during the campaign period, a donation stamp will be generated in The Pop app. When customers tap the stamp, 1,000 KRW per stamp will be collected as a donation, allowing anyone to participate indirectly in the donation. GS25 will bear the full amount of the donation, which will be used to support medical staff working hard to overcome COVID-19.
