At the delivery ceremony, Mayor Jun Nak-young, Vice Mayor Kim Ho-jin, Chairman Jeon Woo-heon of the Gyeongbuk Community Chest of Korea, Fundraising Project Manager Kim Jong-won, Director Choi Dae-rak of the Gyeongju Love Fruit Sharing Volunteer Group, and Director Han Jin-eok of the Citizen Administration Bureau attended.
Gyeongju City conducted a fundraising campaign targeting public officials for 13 days from the 3rd to the 15th, right after the Lunar New Year holiday, collecting 48,598,510 won.
The fundraising campaign involved Mayor Jun Nak-young, Vice Mayor Kim Ho-jin, and about 1,700 others. In particular, Mayor Jun Nak-young set an example by donating his entire January salary, his first paycheck of the year, last month.
