Gwangsan-gu announced that the Songjeong 1-dong Administrative Welfare Center, recently visited by Gwangju patient number 1965, a confirmed COVID-19 case, will be temporarily closed on this day.
The confirmed patient Gwangju 1965, diagnosed the day before, was identified to have visited the administrative welfare center for about 20 minutes from 2 PM on the 16th.
Gwangsan-gu confirmed that all 55 people, including administrative welfare center staff and administrative helpers who had contact with the patient, tested negative in diagnostic tests, and plans to resume operations from the 19th.
Four employees classified as close contacts of the confirmed patient have currently entered self-quarantine.
