"Always Together Moving Forward" Park Yong-man Meets Labor Representatives Before Departure

[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Dae-yeol] Park Yong-man, Chairman of the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry, met with Kim Dong-myeong, Chairman of the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions (KCTU), on the 17th to express his gratitude. Chairman Park, who is set to retire next month, conveyed his thanks for the cooperation from the labor sector as their representative over the years.
On the morning of the same day, Park visited the KCTU office in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, and had a conversation with Chairman Kim for about 30 minutes. The Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the KCTU frequently participate as representatives of labor and management in social consultative bodies such as the Economic, Social and Labor Council. Chairman Park and Chairman Kim have also met separately on several occasions. Park mentioned Choi Tae-won, Chairman of SK Group, whom he recommended and who will take office as the next chairman next month, and exchanged well wishes for continued cooperation.
