Gwangyang City Promotes Sisterhood Partnerships Between Families with Four or More Children and Businesses/Organizations
Reducing Economic Burden on Families Raising Multiple Children, Spreading Community Childcare Atmosphere
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Heo Seon-sik] Gwangyang City announced on the 17th that it will promote sisterhood partnerships with companies and organizations to reduce the childcare cost burden for families with four or more children and to foster a local community childcare atmosphere.
The city plans to recruit companies and organizations that have an address or ties to Gwangyang, select beneficiaries among families with four or more children under 18 years old in the region based on the number of children and income level, and the partnership period will be one year.
Sponsorship can be provided through regular cash or goods support and will be promoted in the form of designated donations in connection with the Gwangyang City Love Sharing Welfare Foundation.
Companies or organizations wishing to participate can refer to the notice on the city’s website and apply by mail, fax, or email by the 10th of next month.
Song Myeong-jong, head of the Child-Friendly City Division, said, “We will promote sisterhood partnerships with companies and organizations to create a child-friendly environment and respond to low birth rates and population decline through local community childcare practices.”
