Jeonnam Province Successfully Concludes Public Officials' Good Gift Sharing Campaign for Lunar New Year Holiday
Visited 488 Social Welfare Facilities to Share Warmth and Kindness

According to the province on the 17th, from the 3rd to the last day of the Lunar New Year holiday on the 14th, the "Public Officials' Lunar New Year Good Gift Sharing Campaign" was carried out.
The "Public Officials' Lunar New Year Good Gift Sharing Campaign" was prepared to support farmers and fishermen who have suffered due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.
Public officials voluntarily purchased domestic agricultural, livestock, and marine products and donated them as holiday gifts to vulnerable groups, aiming to create a caring society. This campaign was proposed by the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission and involved participation from public officials.
The campaign began on the 3rd when the Chairman of the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission visited Jeonnam areas including Yeonggwang to promote the "Lunar New Year Good Gift Sharing."
Subsequently, public officials at the Jeollanam-do Provincial Office purchased agricultural, livestock, and marine products worth about 6.3 million won through voluntary fundraising, visited nursing homes and child welfare facilities, encouraged the staff, and delivered Lunar New Year consolation gifts.
Participation continued in nine cities and counties including Yeosu City, where agricultural, livestock, and marine products worth approximately 87 million won purchased with the fundraising were donated to vulnerable groups throughout the province.
Additionally, individual public officials voluntarily participated by purchasing agricultural, livestock, and marine products as gifts for their families, relatives, and neighbors.
