Gwangju City to Increase City Bus Services on the 17th

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Gwangju Metropolitan City announced on the 16th that it will increase the number of city buses to support citizens' transportation convenience in response to the preliminary heavy snow warning on the 17th.
Currently, there are 880 city buses operating on 101 routes within the jurisdiction, running 7,431 times a day. With this increase, 119 buses and 962 trips will be added, making a total of 999 buses running 8,393 times.
The increase will be applied from the first bus on the 17th, and the timetable for the increased operation can be checked on the Gwangju City Bus Operation Information System bulletin board.

Park Nam-eon, Director of the City Transportation and Construction Bureau, said, “We are increasing the number of city buses to facilitate citizens' commuting. We will also deploy various snow removal equipment and personnel to ensure thorough snow removal measures, so we ask that you actively use public transportation.”
