Gimcheon-si Opens Public Recruitment for 7 Sanitation Workers... Key to Success Is Sandbag Shuttle Run
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongwook Park] Gimcheon City, Gyeongbuk Province (Mayor Kim Choong-seop) announced on the 16th that it will newly hire 7 sanitation workers, including 3 reserve personnel to prepare for vacancies in the first half of the year.
Anyone aged 25 to under 50 who has been continuously registered as a resident in the Gimcheon area for more than one year can apply regardless of educational background, work experience, or gender.
The first physical fitness test will be held on March 3 at the auxiliary stadium (outdoor) within the Gimcheon City Comprehensive Sports Town. The fitness test events include grip strength, standing while holding a sandbag (30 kg for men, 20 kg for women) overhead, and carrying a sandbag (20 kg for men, 13 kg for women) while running back and forth 25 meters.
The city plans to select 14 candidates with the highest scores by summing the results of the first physical fitness test, and then select the final successful candidates through the second document screening and interview test.
