Damyang Wee Center Operates Winter Vacation Program "Stay Indoors~Sharing Love"
[Damyang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Kim Chunsu] The Damyang Office of Education School Support Center announced on the 15th that it selected 40 elementary, middle, and high school students who used the Wee Center counseling program from the 1st to the 10th during the winter vacation and delivered 'Love Sharing Packages' for a wise stay-at-home life.
This program was planned to maintain management and emotional support for at-risk students even though school visit counseling was suspended due to the vacation.
The packages consisted of health supplies such as masks and toothpaste sets to support students' healthy winter life, as well as food items like cereal and cup noodles.
The Wee Center regularly communicates with the students receiving the Love Sharing Packages via phone and KakaoTalk channels to help relieve students' stress and maintain mental health during the vacation.
A student from Changpyeong Elementary School who received the package said, "I was bored and stressed staying at home during the vacation, but meeting and talking with the counseling teacher relieved my frustration."

Education Director Kim Cheolju said, "We expect that the delivery of packages and non-face-to-face counseling will somewhat fill the counseling gap caused by the vacation, and we will continue to prepare various programs for the healthy growth of students."
