LF Il Corso Launches 2021 Spring·Summer Collection Emphasizing Three-Dimensionality
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] LF's contemporary casual brand ‘Il Corso (IL CORSO)’ announced on the 15th that it will launch its 2021 spring·summer collection and unveil a new season photo campaign.
Il Corso presents a collection inspired by the art technique ‘Impasto,’ which involves applying oil paint thickly in the spring·summer season, capturing sensory experiences such as visual and tactile sensations. The collection features a complex use of materials with various textures, and actively utilizes patterns and artworks that emphasize volume to highlight a three-dimensional effect.
The key product of Il Corso’s current season collection is the 'Hidden Belted Long Trench Coat,' which uses lightweight materials suitable for the spring season and a minimal design to create a stylish silhouette. In addition, the collection includes transitional shirket (a blend of shirt and jacket) made with Italian premium fabrics such as ‘Botto Giuseppe’ and ‘Zignone,’ as well as street-style pants centered on sophisticated colors like black, khaki, and beige.
To celebrate the launch of the 2021 spring·summer collection, Il Corso will operate pop-up stores offering limited-time special discounts and gift events for visitors. Il Corso’s pop-up stores will be available from the 23rd to March 21st at the premium select shop Raum East, and from the 26th to March 21st at the street select shop Around the Corner’s Garosugil and Jamsil branches.
