From Tomorrow, Jeonnam Region Eases Social Distancing to Level 1.5

[Muan=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Yoon Jamin] The social distancing level in Jeonnam Province will be adjusted from level 2 to level 1.5 according to the government announcement. This will be applied from the 15th to the 28th.
This measure considers the trends of patient occurrences in both the metropolitan and non-metropolitan areas. Accordingly, the ban on gatherings at six types of establishments including entertainment bars, karaoke bars, colatecs, hunting pochas (bars where meeting people at other tables like clubs is possible), and holdem pubs (places where people drink while enjoying card games) will be lifted, but their operating hours will be restricted until 10 PM.
The operating hours restrictions will be lifted for movie theaters, PC rooms, arcades, academies, reading rooms, amusement parks, beauty salons, large supermarkets, restaurants, cafes (where eating and drinking are prohibited), indoor sports facilities, karaoke rooms, party rooms, and indoor standing performance venues. However, the operating hours for door-to-door sales businesses will remain at 10 PM as before.
To prevent transmission between individuals following the adjustment of the level, the ban on private gatherings of five or more people will be maintained, but exceptions will be allowed for immediate family members, who often cause many complaints.

A Jeonnam Province official said, “This adjustment plan strengthens quarantine management based on autonomy and responsibility, and we hope everyone strictly follows personal quarantine rules such as proper mask-wearing, hand washing, and regular ventilation.” He added, “Associations and organizations must also operate autonomous quarantine rule inspection and monitoring systems, and businesses violating these rules may face fines and, separately, administrative orders to suspend gatherings for two weeks.”
