[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Kolon Industries FnC Division announced on the 14th that its upcycling brand ‘RE;CODE’ will donate a portion of the sales proceeds from the ‘RE;CODE by NIKE’ collection, released last year, to the international child relief organization ‘Save the Children Korea.’
‘RE;CODE by NIKE’ is an upcycling collection created last August by RE;CODE, combining Nike’s apparel and accessories with Kolon FnC’s surplus clothing and fabrics. The collection featured over 30 types of clothing, including sweatshirts and cape jumpers, as well as 25 types of accessories such as bags and hats. Based on sales through January 2021, RE;CODE and Nike donated 5% of the proceeds to Save the Children, which plans to use the donation to help children in need both domestically and internationally.
