On the 14th (Korean time), at Pebble Beach Golf Links in California, USA (par 72, 7,051 yards), continuing the third day of the PGA Tour AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am (total prize money $7.8 million), Spieth added one under par to maintain his position at the top of the leaderboard (13 under par, 203 strokes). Patrick Cantlay, Nate Lashley, Tom Hoge, Daniel Berger (all USA), and Russell Knox (Scotland) are fiercely chasing from joint second place (11 under par, 205 strokes) with five players tied.
Spieth started with a one-stroke lead, recording one eagle, three birdies, and four bogeys. After a bogey on the 2nd hole (par 5), he made birdies on the 4th, 6th, and 9th holes (par 4), continuing a smooth journey. However, his iron shots faltered, leading to bogeys on the 10th, 12th, and 14th holes, facing a crisis. Fortunately, he changed the momentum with a 'shot eagle' on the 16th hole (par 4) and secured a place in the final round. He leads by two strokes, aiming for his 12th career win, the first in 3 years and 7 months since winning The Open in July 2017.
