Cheongam University Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation Holds Plaque Ceremony as Best Institution for Multicultural Family Child Adaptation Support Service
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Cheongam University (President Seo Hyung-won) Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation announced on the 10th that it held a plaque ceremony following the selection of the "Social Service Quality Evaluation" result as the highest grade (within the top 10% of A grade) at the Social Welfare Business Center on the 3rd floor of the Cheongam University Health and Welfare Center, attended by President Seo Hyung-won and about 10 related personnel.
The plaque ceremony was held along with the awarding ceremony of the Minister of Health and Welfare Award and prize money for the excellent project selected in last year's social service quality evaluation by the Korea Social Security Information Service for the "Multicultural Family Child Adaptation Support Service," a community social service investment project under the Social Welfare Business Center of Cheongam University Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation.
Last year's social service quality evaluation targeted 1,089 projects carried out by 875 institutions nationwide. This evaluation was conducted over a total of two years from 2018 to 2019, based on 32 indicators across five areas: institution operation, personnel management, service provision and evaluation, and field evaluation team assessment.

Meanwhile, President Seo Hyung-won, who attended the plaque ceremony, encouraged by saying, "Despite difficulties due to social environmental conditions such as COVID-19 and changes in the evaluation method, the efforts of all the teachers working at the Social Welfare Business Center, including the center director, have resulted in good outcomes," and continued to emphasize, "As a social responsibility of the university, we must play a leading role in the development of the local community as well as multicultural families."
