Gimhae City Applies 'Zero Tolerance Policy' for Violations of COVID-19 Self-Quarantine Rules
Strengthening Management of Self-Quarantine Individuals During Seollal Holiday
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Gimhae City, Gyeongnam Province, announced on the 10th that it will strengthen real-time monitoring and random inspections of COVID-19 self-quarantined individuals during the Lunar New Year holiday.
The city plans to immediately report any violations of quarantine rules to judicial authorities under a zero-tolerance policy. So far, a total of five people have been reported.
Currently, there are about 300 self-quarantined individuals in the area, each managed 24 hours a day on a one-to-one basis by dedicated public officials. During the Lunar New Year holiday, random inspections will be expanded to focus on the appropriateness of quarantine locations and compliance with quarantine rules.

Therefore, please strictly adhere to the quarantine rules in this serious situation."
