On the 9th, the party, government, and Blue House held a closed-door meeting attended by Hong Ikpyo, Chairman of the Democratic Party's Policy Committee, Kim Sangjo, Chief of the Blue House Policy Office, and Hong Namki, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Strategy and Finance, where this matter was discussed, Hong stated during an appearance on MBN TV.
Chairman Hong said, "The economic situation is severe, and the COVID-19 pandemic continues to be difficult to control," adding, "We agreed to urgently prepare the first supplementary budget of this year for the 4th disaster relief fund from a livelihood perspective."
He also said, "The party, government, and Blue House agreed to organize their respective positions and start discussions after the Lunar New Year holiday."
