Changwon City Holds 'Industrial Safety and Health Committee' Meeting for a Safe Work Environment
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] Changwon City, Gyeongnam held the '1st Quarter Changwon City Industrial Safety and Health Committee' at Changwon City Hall on the 9th to promote a healthy working environment and prevent industrial accidents.
According to the Industrial Safety and Health Act, the committee, composed of five users and five workers each, deliberated and resolved important matters related to the safety and health of affiliated workplaces.
Since the Industrial Safety and Health Act was amended in January last year to strengthen its application to public administration field workers, the city has been striving to establish an industrial safety and health management system by separating the main office and five district offices as independent workplaces for efficient and organized management.
On this day, the committee reviewed the introduction and appointment ceremony of each member, the progress report on safety and health managers, and the revision of safety management regulations, and Seo Jeong-guk, Director of the Autonomous Administration Bureau, was elected as the chairman.
