Yeosu City Council Secretariat Staff Also Join 'Disaster Relief Fund Kind Donation'
Donation Worth 2.4 Million Won Collected and Delivered to Two Elderly Welfare Facilities
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Yeosu City Council (Chairman Jeon Chang-gon) announced on the 9th that the secretariat staff participated in the 'Disaster Relief Fund Kind Donation' campaign and collected donations little by little to support elderly welfare facilities in the area.
The city council delivered donations worth approximately 2.4 million won and daily necessities to Deulbue Saneun Jip in Sora-myeon and Yerigo House in Deokchung-dong the day before.
The donations and other support were prepared voluntarily by all secretariat staff of Yeosu City Council who participated in the Disaster Relief Fund Kind Donation campaign.
The recipients were selected among elderly welfare facilities in the area that receive relatively less support compared to other facilities.
Following the participation of all council members in donating disaster relief funds, the secretariat staff also joined in sharing, making Yeosu City Council's disaster relief fund donation activities a heartwarming story.
