This shopping event, centered around four traditional markets?Daein Market, Namgwangju Market, Sansu Market, and Namgwangju Haetteuneun Market?will use Onnuri gift certificates to purchase ritual items and holiday gifts. It also plans to promote participation in the Onnuri gift certificate purchasing campaign and the use of traditional markets among related institutions, organizations, and companies.
Mayor Im Taek of Dong-gu visited local traditional markets over two days, from the 8th to the 9th, to encourage merchants and purchase holiday ritual items.
The shopping event will be conducted over two days, divided by department, to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and strictly comply with social distancing guidelines. In particular, frequent disinfection will be carried out to ensure that visitors can safely visit the traditional markets.
