[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Kim Min-woo (MR Emar), a YouTube creator and resident of Garak 1-dong, Songpa-gu, practiced warm neighborly love by donating 200 tuna can gift sets worth 4.5 million won to low-income households, including single-parent families, in the area to celebrate the Lunar New Year.
Donor Kim Min-woo, a resident of Garak 1-dong and a well-known YouTube creator in the IT and electronics field, has been steadily donating items such as rice, ramen, and tuna to low-income households including single-parent families every holiday since 2019.
So far, the sponsored goods have been delivered to a total of about 400 low-income households, including single-parent families, in Garak 1-dong, Seokchon-dong, Garak Bon-dong, and Garak 2-dong.
In particular, this year, he donated 200 tuna can gift sets worth 4.5 million won to low-income households in the area. Kim Min-woo said, “I want to help so that children in single-parent families do not have their dreams crushed by poverty,” and added, “I send a strong message of encouragement to single-parent families who are going through difficult days.”
