"Let's Reduce Packaging and Delivery Waste" SK General Chemical and Logistics Companies Join Hands
[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Dae-yeol] SK General Chemicals and comprehensive logistics company Logisall signed a memorandum of understanding on the 8th to solve environmental problems caused by waste generated during logistics packaging and delivery processes.
Logisall is a domestic logistics cargo carrier (pallet) and container rental company, and the two companies will share eco-friendly material technology and industrial and daily logistics operation know-how, as well as carry out pallet recycling projects. With the increase in delivery demand due to COVID-19, disposable packaging waste such as packaging materials and boxes has increased, but there has been little reuse or recycling after a single use, raising concerns about serious environmental problems.

Na Kyung-soo, president of SK General Chemicals, said, "Environmental problems caused by excessive waste can be reduced by replacing disposable packaging materials with eco-friendly plastic packaging materials that can be reused for a long time or by recycling used plastics to make products again, thereby establishing a resource circulation system."
