View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] Jin Air announced on the 8th that it has released a video containing tips for using international sightseeing flights on its official YouTube channel.
The video is structured as a vlog in which flight attendants personally experience the international sightseeing flight. The flight attendants introduce precautions and usage tips for each stage, from arriving at Incheon Airport, receiving duty-free goods, boarding the aircraft, to customs declaration after landing.
The content also includes how to use in-flight duty-free products and a visit to the Incheon Airport duty-free shop. Using in-flight duty-free products allows passengers to conveniently receive duty-free goods onboard. However, pre-ordering must be completed on the Jin Air in-flight duty-free website within 48 hours before departure.
Jin Air plans to operate a total of five international sightseeing flights, one each on the 11th, 21st, and 28th. These flights will take approximately two hours, circling over Japanese airspace via Daegu and Busan before returning to Incheon.
During the flight, in-flight events will offer prizes such as free domestic flight tickets, travel duffel bags, eco bags, carrier belts, and snow globes.
Flight fares start from a total minimum of 128,000 KRW. Customers paying with Hana Card and those using Shilla Duty Free will receive immediate discounts of 38,000 KRW and 20,000 KRW respectively, allowing bookings at final prices of 90,000 KRW and 108,000 KRW.
Through a partnership with Shilla Duty Free, additional benefits such as grade upgrades and point rewards are provided for customers’ duty-free shopping. Customers who present their airline ticket or sightseeing flight boarding pass at the Airport Railroad Incheon Airport Terminal 1 Station information center on the day of the international sightseeing flight will receive a T-money transportation card on a first-come, first-served basis. However, boarding passes for the flight on the 21st are excluded.
