LF Anuri Launches 'Playbox,' a Subscription Service Combining Picture Books and Toys
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] LF affiliate Trycycle's infant and toddler care specialist company Anuri announced on the 8th that it has launched a subscription service called ‘Playbox’ that provides picture books and toys simultaneously.
Playbox is a customized educational product tailored by age, consisting of 2 picture books, 2 types of toys and workbooks, and a mobile guide for parents. It offers a total of 8 stages of curation from 4 months to 72 months and boasts a detailed curriculum tailored to the child's growth stages, including attachment, sensory, socio-emotional, social relationships, and science.
The biggest feature of this service is that early childhood education experts at the Anuri Research Institute carefully select books considering the developmental characteristics of children at each stage and choose toys related to the themes to stimulate various sensory areas evenly. In addition, parents can maximize the use of picture books and toys by referring to the mobile guide containing expert advice.
The workbook is printed with eco-friendly soy ink, making it harmless to the human body, and adopts rounded corners to prevent injuries to children. Furthermore, it includes safety stickers that can be attached anywhere, allowing preemptive management of any sharp parts that may inevitably occur during play.
Subscriptions for Playbox can be made on the Anuri website. To celebrate the new launch, a 30% discount event is being held until the 28th, and even without subscribing regularly, customers can select and purchase individual products as needed. The subscription product is priced at 31,500 KRW with the discount applied, and the single product is 34,900 KRW.
Kim Dowoon, head of business at Anuri, said, "We prepared this service to solve the educational concerns of parents raising children at home amid the prolonged COVID-19 situation," adding, "We hope families can experience books and toys that help children's development through various play activities at home."
