On the 5th, SC Engineering announced through a disclosure of the results of an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders that it had completed the appointment of three new directors. Through amendments to the articles of incorporation, hydrogen storage and hydrogen charging station construction and operation business, renewable energy business, and solar power generation business were also added to the business objectives.
A company official stated, "Through the extraordinary general meeting of shareholders, the management of Woo&Company was appointed as directors, and the appointment of new directors was minimized to strengthen the competitiveness and expertise of existing businesses," adding, "Since the change in management rights proceeded smoothly, the hydrogen infrastructure construction business and renewable energy business being promoted as new businesses will also gain momentum."
SC Engineering appointed Jinwoo Hyeong, CEO of Reset Healthcare, and Daesik Wang, head of the Chemical Engineering Division of SC Engineering's EPC Business Headquarters, as inside directors. As outside director, Deokbae Kim, CEO of agricultural corporation Cheorwonsarang Farm, was appointed.
Additionally, considering the stable progress and expertise of the existing chemical engineering-centered comprehensive engineering business, SC Engineering appointed Seunggyu Yoo, who previously served as head of the Chemical Engineering Division at POSCO Engineering, as the new CEO.
A company official emphasized, "We plan to actively promote the rapidly growing hydrogen storage and charging station construction business in the future," and added, "We also intend to pursue various new businesses separately from existing ones."
