According to Gwangju Metropolitan City on the 7th, as of 2 PM that day, 4 people tested positive for COVID-19 and were classified as case numbers 1894 to 1897.
All 4 confirmed cases on this day were related to Gwangju Antioch Church and tested positive during pre-release testing while under self-quarantine.
Regarding Antioch Church, 427 people were self-quarantined, and specimens were collected from 356 people the previous day. Among them, 4 tested positive. In total, 129 people related to Antioch Church have been confirmed positive.
The Gwangju city quarantine authorities are conducting inspections of religious activity quarantine guidelines as the social distancing level 2 has been extended until the 14th.
