[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Dong-wook] Lee Cheol-woo, Governor of Gyeongbuk Province, held a video meeting on the 5th using his home computer with newly appointed student council presidents and delegate chairs from universities in the province to listen to the voices of young people in their 20s.
The meeting was arranged at the request of Governor Lee, who wanted to listen to and communicate with local university students struggling due to COVID-19.

Governor Lee Cheol-woo said, "It pains me to see our university students, who should be learning about the world while socializing with friends, shrinking due to the COVID-19 situation," and promised, "I will listen carefully to the voices of about 170,000 university students from 35 universities in the province and lead an administration that truly helps the youth."
