Changwon City, Jinhae Sokcheon Port Light Street 'Lighting Ceremony' ... "Beach Park Creates 'Festival of Lights'"
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] Changwon City, Gyeongnam Province, announced on the 5th that it held a lighting ceremony for the Sokcheon Port Light Street at Jinhaeru Beach Park on the evening of the 4th.
The city completed the Sokcheon Port Light Street project, which was promoted to develop Sokcheon Port into an urban coastal tourism hub utilizing its excellent natural environment.
The Sokcheon Port Light Street project, with a budget of 1.9 billion KRW including 1.2 billion KRW from the provincial government and 700 million KRW from the city, began construction in November 2019 and was completed on January 28. Various programs such as projection mapping, holograms, photo zones, and media glass were presented along the 1,500-meter light street section.
The Daejukdo Turtle Ship landscape lighting project is also proceeding as originally planned, aiming for completion by the end of this year after review by the Landscape Committee.
