The new confirmed cases by region are 3 in Pohang City, 3 in Cheongdo County, and 1 in Gumi City.
Among the 3 new confirmed cases in Pohang City, 2 were classified as contacts of previously confirmed cases (Pohang 382, 387) and were diagnosed positive after developing symptoms during self-quarantine. The other case was a contact of Pohang 445, who was confirmed positive on the 1st.
The 3 new confirmed cases in Cheongdo County were all classified as contacts of residents confirmed positive in Punggak-myeon (Cheongdo 166, 168) and tested positive after developing symptoms during self-quarantine.
The 1 new confirmed case in Gumi City is an imported case who entered from Europe on the 21st of last month.
In Gyeongsangbuk-do, 72 people (excluding imported cases) have been confirmed positive across various areas over the past week, resulting in a weekly daily average of 10.2 confirmed cases.
