Seoul City Reports 113 New COVID-19 Cases as of 6 PM
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced that from midnight to 6 p.m. on the 4th, there were 113 new confirmed COVID-19 cases in Seoul over an 18-hour period. The cumulative number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Seoul is 24,868.
Compared to the same time frame, this is 38 fewer cases than the 151 reported on the 3rd and 18 more cases than the 95 reported a week ago on the 28th of last month. The total number of confirmed cases over a full 24-hour period was 172 on the 3rd and 112 on the 28th of last month.

Among the new confirmed cases in Seoul on the 4th, 109 were domestic transmissions and 4 were imported cases. Major cluster infection cases included 3 at Hanyang University Hospital in Seongdong-gu, 2 at a homeless shelter near Seoul Station, and 2 at a hunting bar in Gwangjin-gu. One additional confirmed case was related to 'Medical Institution 2' in Yeongdeungpo-gu. Additionally, there were 9 cases from other cluster infections, 57 cases from contact with other confirmed patients, 4 cases from contact with confirmed patients from other cities or provinces, and 31 cases with unknown infection routes.
