Olive Young Gift Card Sales Up 53% Year-on-Year Ahead of Lunar New Year
"Sales Increase 42% Due to Demand for Premium Brand Gifts"

CJ Olive Young announced on the 4th that an analysis of sales from January 25 to February 3, ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday, showed a 53% increase in sales of 'Olive Young Gift Cards' and a 42% increase in premium brand sales. This is compared to the same period just before last year's Lunar New Year holiday (January 7 to January 16).
Sales of 'health supplements,' considered a representative holiday gift, increased by 15% during the same period. The growth rates of gift cards and premium brands significantly exceeded this, drawing attention.
The Olive Young Gift Card is a card-type gift certificate that can be purchased and charged with the desired amount. After registering the card number and scratch number, it can be used at nationwide stores and the online mall. An Olive Young official said, "Since April last year, gift cards have also been available for purchase through the official Olive Young online mall, making them popular gifts especially among the 2030 generation who prefer convenience."
As demand to express feelings through relatively higher-priced gifts increased, sales of premium brand products such as Est?e Lauder, Aveda, and Bobbi Brown also rose significantly. On the 'Gift' service offered through CJ Olive Young's mobile application, premium brand products like 'Moroccan Oil Hair Treatment' and 'Bobbi Brown Extra Lip Tint' ranked higher in orders than health supplements during the same period.
Health supplements with a premium appeal, such as 'Orthomol Immun Multivitamin & Mineral' and 'Cenovis Milk Thistle 120 Capsules Special Set,' were also found to be popular.

The items include health supplements, basic cosmetics sets, body and hair products, perfumes, and men's cosmetics. The 3-hour immediate delivery service 'Oneul Dream' is available until 8 p.m. on February 10, the day before the holiday.
