Dongdaemun-gu, Resident-Led Village Community Contest... Up to 5 Million Won Support
Recruitment of 16 Projects in 4 Areas Including Our Village Proposal Project Until the 26th
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Dongdaemun-gu (Mayor Yoo Deok-yeol) is accepting applications for the 2021 Village Community Contest to support resident-led village community activities.
Dongdaemun-gu is calling for village community projects by the 26th of this month to realize true resident autonomy through community projects tailored to local characteristics based on resident participation.
The district is recruiting 16 projects in four categories: ▲ Our Village Proposal Projects ▲ Resident Meeting Network Projects ▲ Youth Village (Specialized) Creation Projects ▲ Happy Alley Creation Projects, providing up to 5 million KRW in project funding depending on the project type.
Additionally, the district offers pre-consultations on project guidance and proposal writing methods to help residents and organizations participate smoothly, and pre-consultations can be requested via Google.
Residents or organizations wishing to participate in the village community projects should prepare documents such as project proposals and plans and apply through the Seoul Village Community Comprehensive Support Center website.
The district will finalize project selections through document and on-site evaluations and the Village Community Committee's review, notify applicants individually of the results, and post them on the Seoul Village Community Comprehensive Support Center and Dongdaemun-gu websites.
