Yeonggwang-gun to Recruit 'Public Work Project Participants' Until the 5th
[Yeonggwang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters reporter Lee Jeonseong] Yeonggwang-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 1st that it is recruiting 20 participants for the '2021 First Half Public Work Project' until the 5th.
The county provides temporary jobs to socially vulnerable groups to protect their livelihoods, encourage work motivation, and offer opportunities for reemployment.
Eligibility requires applicants to be at least 18 years old, have a household income of two or more persons at or below 65% of the median income, and assets under 300 million KRW.
However, participation is restricted for recipients under the National Basic Livelihood Security Act, households with two participants, spouses and children of public officials, and those who have participated more than twice in other financial support projects within the last three years.
The recruitment is for 20 people across six projects, including ▲ management of books at Hongnong Small Library ▲ maintenance of tourist facility equipment and public restrooms ▲ flower path creation and tourist site environmental cleanup.
Applicants must visit their local eup/myeon office by the 5th with an application form, a copy of their ID, a copy of their health insurance card, and a consent form for providing financial transaction information to submit their application.

Meanwhile, last year, 39 people were employed in financially supported jobs through the public work project, contributing to job creation for vulnerable groups.
