[Photo] 10 Million KRW Donation for Warm Winter 2021 Delivered to Small Churches in Jungnang-gu
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Jungnang-gu (Mayor Ryu Kyung-gi) announced that it received a donation of 10 million KRW for the 2021 Hope Ondol Warm Winter Campaign from Yeongse Church (Pastor Kim Tae-su) and distributed the funds to low-income households in welfare blind spots in Junghwa 1-dong and 2-dong.
The donation ceremony was held with a small number of attendees, including Jungnang-gu Mayor Ryu Kyung-gi and Pastor Kim Tae-su. The donation was distributed to 50 neighbors in need within the community, each receiving 200,000 KRW, identified through a three-week search for welfare blind spots.
Jungnang-gu Mayor Ryu Kyung-gi said, “Yeongse Church’s warm sharing has been a great help in resolving welfare blind spots among low-income groups,” and added, “We are grateful to Yeongse Church for their donation despite the difficulties caused by COVID-19.”
