View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Seon-ae] On Saturday the 30th, the entire country will remain below freezing until morning, making it cold, but the chill will ease from daytime, and temperatures will mostly rise above freezing.
The morning low temperatures are forecasted to be between -12 and -1 degrees Celsius, and the daytime highs between 4 and 11 degrees Celsius.
In the Seoul metropolitan area, Gangwon Yeongseo, northern Chungcheong region, and northern inland Gyeongbuk, snow is expected to fall from dawn to morning in some areas.
The expected snowfall in these regions is 1 to 5 cm, with 2 to 7 cm of snow expected in the Gangwon mountain areas.
Fine dust levels will be 'moderate' across all regions, but in the Seoul metropolitan area and Chungnam, levels may reach 'bad' in the afternoon, and in Chungcheong and Honam regions, 'bad' levels may appear at night.
Along the East Coast, high waves caused by swells may overflow coastal roads or breakwaters in some places.
Sea waves are expected to be 1.0 to 3.5 meters in the East Sea nearshore, and 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the West Sea and South Sea nearshore.
