Hampyeong-gun Provides Interest-Free Loan Support to Local Small Business Owners
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Hampyeong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 29th that it will promote an interest-free loan support project for local small business owners severely affected by COVID-19.
The Hampyeong-gun Small Business Financial Support Project is a program in which the county subsidizes part of the loan interest for small business owners to stabilize management and expand their self-reliance foundation.
Recently, Hampyeong-gun signed a business agreement with eight local financial institutions including Jeonnam Credit Guarantee Foundation, NH Nonghyup, and Gwangju Bank, agreeing to provide special guarantees and loan interest support totaling 1.2 billion KRW for small business owners in the area.
This year, the county will support loan interest up to 30 million KRW per business under the condition of a two-year grace period with lump-sum repayment.
The guarantee foundation guarantees 100% of the loan amount for small business owners recommended by the county, and when financial institutions execute loans at a fixed interest rate, the county supports the interest amount for up to two years.
The support target is small business owners who have resided in Hampyeong-gun for more than one year and operate an actual business site.
Small business owners wishing to apply for the project can visit the Jeonnam Credit Guarantee Foundation (Naju branch) or the Hampyeong-gun Office Civil Service Center Jeonnam Credit Guarantee Foundation consultation desk (every Tuesday, 2?4 p.m.) starting February 1, bringing an application form, ID, and business registration certificate.
The county plans to select final support recipients after screening for loan delinquency, national and local tax arrears, and duplicate benefits.
