Woowa Brothers Launch 'Baemin Academy On-the-Go' for Small Business Owners in Jeju Island
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] Woowa Brothers, the operator of Baedal Minjok, will conduct a training program for self-employed restaurant owners targeting small business owners in Jeju Island.
Woowa Brothers announced on the 29th that they signed a "Business Agreement to Enhance the Competitiveness of Small Business Owners in Jeju" with the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Economic and Trade Promotion Agency's Small Business Management Support Center.
The Jeju Economic and Trade Promotion Agency is an economic and trade specialized institution that supports the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises and small business owners in the province. It promotes projects such as developing distribution channels and export support, education and financial support for small business owners, and job creation through employment and entrepreneurship training.
On the 28th, the day before, both parties held a signing ceremony at the Jeju Economic and Trade Promotion Agency, attended by key officials including Ham Yoon-sik, Head of Customer-Centered Management Division at Woowa Brothers, and Moon Kwan-young, Director of the Jeju Economic and Trade Promotion Agency.
Through this agreement, both parties have agreed to actively strengthen the competitiveness and self-sustainability of small business owners in the Jeju region. Woowa Brothers will conduct the self-employed restaurant owners' training program "Visiting Baemin Academy" targeting small business owners in Jeju Island.
The Jeju edition of the Visiting Baemin Academy consists of a curriculum specialized for Jeju, including branding education, marketing strategies, and special lectures by notable figures. Fifty small business owners will receive online training for five weeks from the 2nd of next month to March 2nd.
