Implementation of Non-face-to-face Foreign Exchange Bank Designation (Change) Application Service
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] KB Kookmin Bank announced that starting from the 29th, it will implement a non-face-to-face service for designating (or changing) the foreign exchange bank for transactions.
With the introduction of this service, customers can now apply for designation or change of the foreign exchange bank for transactions through KB Star Banking without visiting a branch. The method is to take a photo of the required documents with a mobile phone camera and send them via KB Star Banking to enable designation of the foreign exchange bank for transactions.
Overseas remittances eligible for designated transactions include ▲ overseas remittances sent by residents without supporting documents ▲ overseas remittances for expenses of overseas students (overseas residents) ▲ salaries in Korea for foreigners. Additionally, it is possible to check the designation status of foreign exchange banks for transactions across all financial institutions, and customers can easily and conveniently change their designated foreign exchange bank to KB Kookmin Bank.
