Doosan Bobcat Holds Non-Face-to-Face Conference for Chinese Small Construction Equipment Dealers
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] Doosan Bobcat announced on the 29th that it held a virtual dealer conference in an untact (non-face-to-face) format at its Suzhou, China subsidiary, targeting over 400 small construction equipment dealers from across China. The event was an opportunity to share last year's business performance, mid- to long-term business strategies, and key issues with dealers from various regions in China, aiming to enhance sales capabilities.
As a key strategy to penetrate the Chinese market, Doosan Bobcat emphasized the importance of ▲ securing competitiveness through expanding the product lineup ▲ strengthening in-house research and development (R&D) capabilities, and shared implementation plans with the dealers.
The Chinese small construction machinery market is the second largest in the world after the United States, with a dominant share held by small excavators. The market segment under 3 tons, which Doosan Bobcat is focusing on, had an annual scale of 8,778 units as of last year. It has been growing at an average annual rate of about 64% since 2016.
