Kamco Achieves First Grade for 5 Consecutive Years in Anti-Corruption Policy Evaluation Hosted by the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission
[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-seop] Korea Asset Management Corporation (KAMCO) announced on the 28th that it has achieved the highest grade for five consecutive years for the first time among financial public institutions in the Anti-Corruption Policy Evaluation of Public Institutions for 2020 conducted by the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission.
The evaluation, hosted by the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission, is a system that assesses various public institutions' autonomous anti-corruption efforts to enhance integrity levels in the public sector. Last year, the efforts of 263 institutions to prevent corruption were evaluated across four categories?planning, execution, performance, and dissemination?using 20 indicators.
KAMCO received the highest grade, Grade 1, in this evaluation, achieving the top rating for five consecutive years along with the Korea Workers' Compensation and Welfare Service. KAMCO earned perfect scores in areas such as the operation of citizen participation systems, implementation of recommended tasks for institutional improvements in anti-corruption, solid operation of the Code of Conduct for Public Officials, and activities to spread a culture of integrity.
