Nongshim launched Shin Ramyun Gunmyeon after more than two years of research and development. Since it involved reimagining the national representative ramen, Shin Ramyun, as a dry noodle, it took a long time. In particular, the most challenging process was finding a way to produce the same broth flavor while changing the fried noodles into dry noodles that are not fried in oil. To preserve Shin Ramyun's deep flavor while providing a clean sensation, researchers conducted over 2,000 sensory evaluations, adjusting the precise ratios of ingredients, and succeeded in creating a 'lighter Shin Ramyun.'
