Gimhae-si Supports Milk Supply for Low-Income Students
Annual Supply of 200ml Milk for 250 Days to Over 7,000 People
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Gimhae City, Gyeongnam Province, announced on the 27th that it will continue to support school milk feeding for low-income students this year as well.
The support targets are elementary, middle, and high school students from financially disadvantaged families, including National Basic Livelihood Security recipients, near-poverty groups, single-parent families, and special education students.
Approximately 200ml of white milk is supplied for about 250 days annually, and domestically produced sterilized milk or cheese may be provided as substitutes.
Additionally, during vacations or periods when students do not attend school due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, the milk is delivered to their homes.
