[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Yangcheon-gu (Mayor Kim Soo-young) held the opening ceremony of Yangcheon Central Library (81, Sinjeong-ro 7-gil, Yangcheon-gu) at 2 p.m. on the 26th.
Yangcheon Central Library, for which the basic plan was established in 2016, construction started in 2018, and completed in October 2020, is Yangcheon-gu's representative library with a total project cost of 21.689 billion KRW, consisting of 2 basement floors and 4 above-ground floors (total floor area 5,666.36㎡).
With a collection of about 78,000 books, over 25,000 types of VOD services, and the introduction of a reservation lending machine available 24 hours a day, it is expected to become a hub for education and culture prepared for the contactless era.
