[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] On Sunday the 24th, the whole country will be mostly cloudy, gradually clearing from the west in the morning. Rain or snow will fall until morning in the eastern coast of Gyeongbuk and the northeastern mountains of Gyeongbuk, and until the afternoon in the eastern coast and mountains of Gangwon.
Expected snowfall amounts by 6 PM on the 24th are 5 to 20 cm in the Gangwon mountains and 3 to 8 cm in the northeastern mountains of Gyeongbuk. If rain falls, precipitation amounts will be 10 to 40 mm in the eastern coast and mountains of Gangwon and the eastern coast of Gyeongbuk.
On Jaejudo Island, 10 to 40 mm of rain is forecast until dawn, and 5 to 20 mm along the coasts of Jeonnam and Gyeongnam regions. Visibility will be reduced in areas with rain, so caution is advised for traffic safety.
Morning low temperatures are forecast to be between -2 and 9 degrees Celsius, and daytime highs between 6 and 14 degrees Celsius. Fine dust levels will be 'Good' across all regions due to favorable atmospheric dispersion.
Strong wind warnings are in effect for the East Sea, South Sea, and Jeju Island waters, with very strong winds and high waves expected until the 25th. Ships navigating or fishing in these areas should exercise caution.
