SK Securities Introduces KakaoPay Authentication Service on MTS
[Asia Economy Reporter Minji Lee] SK Securities announced on the 22nd that it has introduced KakaoPay authentication services on its MTS (Mobile Trading System) and website. The KakaoPay authentication via the website is the first of its kind in the industry.
The KakaoPay certificate can be used simultaneously across all mobile platforms with a single registration on KakaoTalk. Once issued, the certificate is valid for two years and allows one-stop processing of all transactions from login to transfers and stock orders using simple passwords, facial recognition, or fingerprint authentication.
SK Securities enhanced customer convenience by specializing in a simple remittance function of up to 10 million KRW without OTP or security cards. An SK Securities official stated, “This service provides customers with an easy and fast financial investment environment,” adding, “We will continue to introduce customer-centered non-face-to-face innovative services to strengthen digital finance.”

Additionally, SK Securities plans to hold an event throughout March where 100 people daily who log in using the KakaoPay certificate will receive 5,000 KRW in KakaoMoney.
