NC's K-pop Platform 'Universe' Launches on the 28th
[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] NCSoft will launch the K-pop entertainment platform 'Universe' on the 28th.
According to NCSoft on the 21st, Universe is an all-in-one platform where fandom activities can be enjoyed on mobile both online and offline. It connects artists and fans through various content utilizing NCSoft's IT technology.
As of this day, pre-registrations for Universe have surpassed 4 million. Fans from 188 countries have participated in the pre-registration. Overseas users account for 80%.
NCSoft will hold an online live concert 'UNI-KON' featuring IZ*ONE, Monsta X, Kang Daniel, and others on the 14th of next month. It will be broadcast live worldwide through the Universe app.
NCSoft will apply extended reality (XR) technologies such as augmented reality (AR) and mixed reality (MR) to the concert and also provide a multi-view feature that allows viewing the performance from various angles.
