[Photo] Park Kyum-su, Gangbuk District Mayor, Delivers 2021 Red Cross Special Membership Fee
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Gangbuk-gu (Mayor Park Gyeom-su) held the '2021 Red Cross Special Membership Fee Presentation Ceremony' at the mayor's office on the 19th.
On this day, Mayor Park Gyeom-su of Gangbuk-gu handed over 1 million won as a special membership fee to the Seoul branch of the Korean Red Cross.
The ceremony was attended by Kim Bok-rye, Director of the Northern Red Cross Volunteer Center of the Korean Red Cross, and Kwon Young-hee, Chairperson of the Gangbuk District Council of the Korean Red Cross Volunteer Association, among others.
Members of the Red Cross expressed their commitment to continuously carry out volunteer activities to spread the spirit of humanitarianism.
The Korean Red Cross, as a disaster management authority and emergency rescue support agency, plans to use the raised funds to support vulnerable groups and families in crisis within the region. The funds will also be used as relief activity expenses to assist victims in the event of various disasters such as floods and fires.
