[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] The Army's 7th Mobile Corps announced on the 20th that it will conduct the "2021 Cold Weather Training" for 4 nights and 5 days from January 22 to 26 in the areas of Icheon and Yeoju, Gyeonggi Province.
During this training period aimed at enhancing winter operation capabilities, a large number of troops, military vehicles, and tracked equipment will move via National Roads No. 3 and 84, and Provincial Roads No. 335 and 531, prompting the operation of traffic control posts on these roads.
The military authorities stated, "We plan to conduct the training while minimizing inconveniences to local residents," and requested "the active understanding and cooperation of local residents for the smooth progress of the training."
